Chris Manasserian is a Partner at GLG, specializing in land use, environmental law, and regulatory compliance. Chris has successfully guided clients in obtaining entitlements for a wide range of projects including but not limited to: small to large scale residential and commercial developments, mixed-use, live-work, co-living, hotels, sound stages, and restaurants. His expertise spans California State laws including CEQA (EIRs, IS/MNDs, Class 32 Exemptions, SCEAs, etc.), the Subdivision Map Act, the Ellis Act, the State Density Bonus Law, the Housing Accountability Act, Housing Crisis Act of 2019, Tenant Protection Act of 2019, AB 2097, and the Coastal Act.

Chris also has specialized experience in various City of Los Angeles programs and regulations such as the Mayor’s Executive Directive 1 (ED1), the Density Bonus Program, Transit-Oriented Communities Incentive Program, and the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. In addition, Chris stays well-informed on evolving city and state land use regulations, ensuring his clients benefit from up-to-date strategies that align with current policy.

Chris has experience representing clients in hearings before many municipal bodies such as the Los Angeles City Planning Commission, the Office of the Zoning Administrator, Cultural Heritage Commission, and various neighborhood council groups, skillfully advocating project approvals in high-stakes environments. He also has extensive experience representing clients in other municipalities such as Glendale and Pasadena
